Domestic Violence

Definition of Violence:   Violence is an act that causes the victim to do something she does not want to do, prevents her from doing something she wants to do, or causes her to be afraid.

Violence need not involve physical contact with the victim, since intimidating acts, such as punching the walls, verbal threats, and psychological abuse, can achieve the same results.
