Children's Art Expression Program
Art
expression is a service that offers individuals the opportunity to explore
personal problems, life challenges and potentials through verbal and non-verbal
creative expression.
Children use different forms of art such as drawing, coloring, painting and building to express their feelings on paper that they maybe cannot through words.
The most important component in guiding children towards their own empowerment is to give them the means to heal from their traumatic experiences.
SCCFF uses techniques from the "A Window Between Worlds" program out of Los Angeles to help the children find a sense of safety, power and hope through the creative arts.
