Our Mission
The Mission of Sanders County Coalition for Families is to provide a safe haven and supportive services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. Our Vision is to end violence against women and children by creating a safe community that promotes a culture of equality and respect in relationships.
Kid's Safety Plan
SAFETY at HOME
When someone is being hurt, get help fast!!
Dial 9-1-1 for the police.
Give the 9-1-1 operator the address.
Tell who is being hurt and who is involved
Practice finding a safe place to run or hide. Safe places could include your bedroom, or in your tree house, etc.
Find a neighbor who will help you.
Make a safety plan.

Are you afraid of being hurt?
Tell Somebody!!
A teacher, counselor, nurse, lunch room helper, custodian, Principal, School Resource Officer
Any adult you can trust
Anyone who will listen
Dial 9-1-1 for help
If someone is trying to hurt you at school, walk away from the situation and get help!
SAFETY on the STREET
If someone is hurting you, here's what to do -
Scream LOUDLY for HELP!!
Run to a well lit area where there are other people.
Get to a phone, DIAL 9-1-1
Ask some to call 9-1-1
If you cannot or do not want to call 9-1-1 do this
Tell Someone -
A teacher
A parent
A relative
A minister
A nurse or doctor
Someone you can trust
